About The Position

This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of approximately two days per week on site. On-site requirements may vary based on business needs, team meetings, training, and operational priorities. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in healthcare related field
  • 2 years of Quality improvement, performance improvement, project management or similar role

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare related field
  • RN – State of Michigan
  • 1 year of participation on improvement initiatives
  • CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), IHI Open School
  • CRT-Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified (CPHQ) - NAHQ National Association for Healthcare Quality
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

Responsibilities

  • Supports projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable quality improvement.
  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and helps to develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable clinical quality improvement.
  • Collects and analyzes process and quality data to initiate, develop, and recommend operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced quality outcomes.
  • Supports and drives improvement activities for accountable areas based on organizational priorities (project management, measurable deliverables, milestones, and data informed strategy).
  • Serves as a liaison between various departments across the Corewell Health System.
  • Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a change agent to key stakeholders.
  • Ensures continuity and coordination of services with appropriate utilization of resources.
  • Responsible for stakeholder management across collaboration within dept and organizational resources.
  • Drives continuous assessment and improvements using appropriate tools and methodology within the business, assists stakeholders and process owners in prioritizing improvement opportunities.
  • Competent at improvement science to drive quality performance in regulatory, accreditation and publicly reported programs.
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate benchmarked quality data and trends to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
  • Continuously develop quality improvement knowledge and skills for the organization.
  • Support strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities.
  • Support compliance of accreditation/TJC for quality chapters.
