About The Position

Leads and facilitates a dynamic summer immersion experience for a cohort of students, guiding them through the design and execution of a high-impact project grounded in quality improvement principles. Provides instruction and mentorship on continuous improvement methodologies, including the use of Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles, while fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. Oversees project development from problem identification through implementation and evaluation, ensuring students apply rigorous analysis and evidence-based strategies to achieve measurable outcomes. Supports teamwork, monitors progress, and provides ongoing feedback to help students translate theory into practice, culminating in a meaningful deliverable that demonstrates improved processes and real-world impact.

Requirements

  • Experience with quality improvement principles.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including PDSA cycles.
  • Ability to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
