About The Position

The Manufacturing Quality Group Leader leads and supports the quality inspectors for the manufacturing team to achieve safety, quality and delivery targets while promoting continuous improvement and team development.

Requirements

• 2- years of experience in weld fabrication
• 3- years of experience in a supervisory/team leader role
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or related field
• 3- years of assembly experience in a related industry
• 4- years of experience in a supervisory/team leader role
• Experience managing quality or manufacturing teams
• Has weld / fabrication background

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team to meet daily quality and manufacturing targets
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
• Monitor quality, productivity and performance
• Allocate work and manage priorities to meet schedules
• Coach, support and develop team members
• Conduct team briefings, handovers and communications
• Identify and escalate safety, quality or equipment issues
• Support continuous improvement and problem‑solving activities
• Complete basic people and production administration
• Collaborate with Team Leaders, Group Leaders and Managers
• Other duties as assigned
