About The Position

This position is responsible for the coordination of planning, execution, operation and maintenance of quality system procedures and standards for the JCB North America manufacturing facility. This individual will drive and have ownership of identifying opportunities for product and process improvement and lead quality improvement activities with cross functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar from an accredited college or university
• 2- years of experience in weld fabrication
• 5S lean manufacturing and six sigma certified
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment in a related industry
• Has weld / fabrication background
• GD&T experience
• Interpret Blueprint engineering drawings
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise.
• Ability to understand processes (system and non-system), troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality standards that address all products produced in the manufacturing processes
• Lead the ISO 9001 management system for manufacturing
• Manage product quality programs / projects for manufacturing
• Create, set up and audit manufacturing processes and changes to ensure conformance with process control procedures, quality standards and engineering specifications
• Monitor quality, productivity and performance
• Create and implement necessary changes to ensure quality standards are met within manufacturing
• Provide training to ensure that proper procedures are followed
• Ensure system conform to applicable ISO 9000 standards for welding and fabrication
• Create process improvement communication channels across the manufacturing functions
• Champion continuous process improvement amongst teams and its team members
• Other duties as assigned
