About The Position

This internship offers firsthand experience with the challenges of the aerospace industry and quality engineering, while contributing to meaningful business improvements. Interns will complete operational tasks and project-based work, maintain a safe and clean work area, and work cooperatively with other employees to meet department and company goals. At the end of the internship, interns will present their work and learning outcomes to management. This internship also serves as a gateway to full-time employment, with the company seeking students excited about continuing their journey after graduation. Full-time employment is not guaranteed and will depend on individual performance and company business needs. Additional duties may be performed as directed by supervisors or management to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Passion for quality engineering and aerospace manufacturing.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to compile information and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work with deadlines, sense of urgency as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a U.S. Person, as defined by U.S. export control laws.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
