About The Position
RTX is offering a summer 2027 internship in Quality Engineering with Pratt & Whitney, an aerospace engine and auxiliary power systems company. The internship is based onsite in East Hartford, Connecticut. Interns at RTX have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with industry professionals while developing skills and contributing to complex aerospace and defense work. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and remain actively enrolled in a qualifying degree program through the completion of the internship.
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program studying Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechatronics, and remain enrolled through completion of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access certain necessary systems.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- Previous exposure to quality principles and tools preferred.
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience preferred.
