About The Position

The Quality Engineering Intern will contribute to the development and maintenance of quality systems and protocols that ensure product reliability and compliance. This is an onsite role offering hands-on experience in quality evaluation and control within a manufacturing environment. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with project and product requirements.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline and remain enrolled throughout the internship.
Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization.
Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program or contract.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements, such as PFMEA, MSA, and Control Plans.
Background in metals manufacturing and process improvement.
Advanced coding skills for data analysis and visualization.
Exposure to continuous improvement tools and methods.

Responsibilities

Support the development, modification, and maintenance of quality evaluation and control systems.
Assist with testing plans, risk management, and root cause analysis to address product quality issues.
Contribute to proactive quality strategies, process improvements, and engineering changes.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and develop inspection technologies and methodologies.
