Here, you will make an impact by providing Quality Engineering support for the Valley facility as an integral part of the team to support the production of products that meet customer requirements, applying a working knowledge of quality principles and statistics to assigned processes and products, and supporting and interacting with internal and external customers, as well as suppliers throughout product lifecycle to address product quality requirements, specifications, complaint investigations and change management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of combines experience in a Manufacturing, Production, Quality and/or Laboratory role in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited institution
  • Certification(s) in quality engineering, quality auditing or quality management such as: American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and/or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve quality related issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different functions
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Self-driven, Optimistic and Resilient
  • Capable of implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance product and process quality
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to analyze data and identify defects in products and processes

Responsibilities

  • Providing Quality Engineering support for the Valley facility as an integral part of the team to support the production of products that meet customer requirements
  • Applying a working knowledge of quality principles and statistics to assigned processes and products
  • Supporting and interacting with internal and external customers, as well as suppliers throughout product lifecycle to address product quality requirements, specifications, complaint investigations and change management
  • Driving product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement methods and tools, such as: Six Sigma, Product and Process Understanding (PPU), Design of Experiments (DOE), Customer Quality Index (CQI) and Quality at the Source
  • Trouble shooting, investigating, and analyzing for non-conforming product testing and disposition
  • Collaborating with laboratory and global manufacturing teams to assure uniform and consistent metrology through Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Round Robin correlation studies, and use of Internal Reference Materials (IRMs) as appropriate.
  • Assisting in the development of improved test methods, as needed.
  • Leading, executing and coaching on product design reviews, FMEAs, test method development, raw material specifications, customer complaint investigations for the purpose of error proofing processes and driving to zero defect.
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
  • Contributing to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
