About The Position
A Quality Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples. This role involves assisting with the maintenance and implementation of the Quality System, interfacing with Engineering and Operations for smooth product transfers, and supporting Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance. The engineer will analyze failures, manage corrective and preventive actions, and create/maintain quality documentation. Responsibilities also include improving QA processes, managing supplier performance, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement activities like 5S and Kaizen. Additionally, the role involves developing quality awareness training and conducting audits.
Requirements
- ISO Auditor.
- Mid-Level Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Computer knowledge, functionality, technical interaction of sub-assemblies.
- English as either primary or secondary language.
- Organization and Prioritization.
- Critical analysis and complex problem solving.
- Reading Comprehension.
- Manual Dexterity.

Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.
- Assist Quality Manager & Supervisor in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
- Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products is in accordance with approved data.
- Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
- Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to internal/external customer complaints.
- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
- Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Preparation of QA weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
- Develop training to build quality awareness.
- Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determining proper corrective and preventive actions.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.
- Manage suppliers performance and conduct audits.
