About The Position

The Quality Engineer will be part of the Quality Engineering team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. The role involves driving product excellence across the missile and fire control portfolio by partnering with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to embed quality into every phase. This position offers high visibility, impact on mission-critical systems, and the chance to shape quality standards across a global organization.

Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM related field with some professional experience, or no experience required with a STEM related Masters degree or equivalent combined education and experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance within a year of starting.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of MES systems
Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
ASQ CQE.

Responsibilities
