Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related engineering experience, OR Master’s degree with 1+ years of related engineering experience, OR In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience of related engineering experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with deep knowledge of engineering principles and their practical application
  • Effective communicator with solid oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams
  • Well-organized with strong planning, coordination, and follow-up capabilities
  • Technical proficiency in engine mechanics, production processes, quality control, and failure analysis (including diesel engines and MTU products preferred)
  • Proficient in relevant tools and systems, including MS Office, SAP, Windchill/CreoView, SEM/EDS, and other engineering software
  • Open to domestic and international travel

Responsibilities

  • Conduct timely investigations of returned materials, line incidents, and zero-hour failures to determine root cause
  • Document findings and interpret internal/external test data to support reporting and business processes
  • Support production quality through COP inspections, gap analysis, and plant issue resolution
  • Perform part inspections and metallurgical analyses to aid design validation and supplier development
  • Collect, analyze, and report KPI, warranty, and field data to inform decisions and continuous improvement
  • Special assignments as required.
