About The Position
A healthcare facility near Cody, Wyoming, is seeking a Quality Director to join their team. This role will lead hospital-wide Quality Management, Performance Improvement, Patient Safety, and Risk Management initiatives. The Quality Director will oversee compliance initiatives, survey readiness, and corrective action planning to ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal requirements. This position partners with executive leadership, medical staff, and department leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions. The Quality Director emphasizes quality and compliance to promote quality patient care and fosters a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional healthcare experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in Performance Improvement and regulatory surveys.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) designation within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Previous Quality Director roles are a plus!
