About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Quality Data Analyst - Automotive in Greensboro, NC. This role is part of an exciting Quality and Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS) team focused on advanced analytics and machine learning for emerging issue detection, problem definition, and resolution support. The team's mission is to ensure product quality performance across the complete product line by investigating and prioritizing market product quality issues. The data team uses clear and concise data storytelling to incorporate the voice of the customer into problem-solving processes. This position supports achieving product quality goals and metrics that directly pertain to customer satisfaction, utilizing fundamental and advanced analytics techniques to accelerate the field quality issue solving process for conventional, electric, and fuel cell powertrains in Trucks and Coaches. The role involves collaboration with global sites in Sweden, France, Brazil, and US locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent required.
  • Experience with problem solving in a quality organization that is technical focused.
  • Very skilled in PowerBI
  • Demonstrated experience with relevant technical tools such as: SQL, Python, R, Azure Analytics Cloud, Jupiter Notebook, and Apache Spark.
  • Knowledge of unsupervised and supervised machine learning techniques (Algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, or anomaly detection including but not limited to: K-means, Random Forest, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Good energy, a positive attitude, and thrive in creative thinking.
  • Real problem solver and confident to make data driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all steps of an analytics assignment, from fundamental to advanced statistical techniques, including data & business value exploration, data structuring, modeling, problem solving & recommendation within the Quality team.
  • Develop & implement methodologies to assist Product Quality Leaders in emerging issue detection, forecasting & predicting quality & uptime performance.
  • Work with various data sources including warranty, logged vehicle, customer data, manufacturing data, and high-resolution truck data.
  • Deliver all steps independently and establish a network working closely with colleagues in Europe, India & Brazil on various initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with other Data Analysts, Data engineers, Data Architects and Data Scientists during the implementation and deployment of the advance analytics solution.
