About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Pallet Quality Coordinator at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Manufacturing and Construction positions pay Weekly Hourly Pay: $20/hour. Schedule: 3rd Shift Friday - Sunday 4:30AM - 3:00PM and Monday 4:30PM - 3:00AM. We want the right Manufacturing Employee to join us at Ryder and work with State of the Art Equipment in the Safest Warehouse Environment. Products Being Handled: Pallets. Equipment: Palamatic Machine and Rolling Line. Various construction, building, carpentry, manufacturing, warehouse, Skilled and Semi-Skilled Labor roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Previous experience in food grade facility
  • Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
  • Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
  • Perform timely checks to meet specifications
  • Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
  • Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
  • Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
  • Other duties as required or assigned
