About The Position
This position is a non-safety sensitive role within Mathis Mattress Manufacturing. The primary focus is on ensuring the quality of mattresses and box springs produced.
Requirements
- Ability to lift merchandise of 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Fast paced, production line work environment
- Knowledge of employment and safety procedures
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
- Lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. constantly to move objects.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of merchandise.
- Organize and carry finished and wrapped mattresses and box springs to pallets according to size, store, and stops.
- Inspecting products for defects and keep area clean and organized.
