About The Position

Tekni-Plex Consumer Products Division is hiring Quality Control Technicians for its newly built Van Wert, Ohio manufacturing plant, which produces molded pulp egg carton products. Quality Technicians conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process safely and efficiently, audit production, and enter quality-check data into a database. They also train production equipment operators to recognize high-quality products and identify product or printing defects. The role helps ensure compliance with food safety requirements. The position is on the night shift, 4:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule; training is Monday through Friday. Entry pay is $19 per hour plus a $1-per-hour shift premium.

Requirements

• At least one year of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Experience training others and entering data into a database is strongly preferred.
• Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP is a significant plus.
