Day Shift - 4:45a - 5:00p- Quality Control Technician
About The Position
Tekni-Plex Consumer Products Division is hiring Quality Control Technicians at its newly built manufacturing plant in Van Wert, Ohio, which produces molded pulp egg carton products. Quality Technicians safely and efficiently conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process, audit production, and enter quality-check data into a database. They also train production equipment operators to recognize high-quality products and identify product and printing defects, and help ensure compliance with food safety requirements. The schedule is a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with training Monday through Friday. The day shift runs from 4:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Entry pay is $19 per hour, plus a $1 per hour shift premium; the posting also notes that competitive wages depend on specialized skills and experience.
Requirements
- At least one year of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Experience training others and entering data into a database is strongly preferred.
- Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP is a significant plus.
