Prysmian Group is seeking new talent for a Quality Control Technician role at their manufacturing plant in Taunton, MA. This position is responsible for the electrical testing of wire, components, cable, and assemblies in various stages of production, as well as the finished product. Requirements

  • Solid, stable work history
  • Awareness of safety procedures and ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to work in a team and participate in safety, quality, and production improvement activities
  • Willingness to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift and maneuver 75–100 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Electrical background preferred (vocational, military, or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Using high-potential AC and DC test equipment
  • Operating various types of electrical bridges, meters, and fiber optic test sets
  • Performing all aspects of testing and final inspection
  • Maintaining a safe and orderly test area

Benefits

  • Pay Range $24.65 to $29.36
  • $2,500 Stay Bonus ($1,250 after 6 months; $1,250 after 1 year)

  • Shift Premiums: $1.50/hr (2nd shift); $2.25/hr (3rd shift)
