About The Position

As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the products produced by the Yancey Engineering Team. This role involves inspecting tanks and enclosures at various production stages to ensure compliance with build specifications and UL 142 standards. You will also be responsible for documenting inspections, scanning and filing compliance documentation, and participating in the company's safety program.

Requirements

Prior experience with quality control inspections
Strong accountability and initiative
Advanced problem solving skills
Drive and attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent
Capable of reading tape measurement and reading/interpreting YES shop drawings
Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, Power point
Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone

Nice To Haves

Quality control inspection experience
Electrical Experience preferred

Responsibilities

Inspect tanks and enclosures at different phases of production to verify compliance of build
Document phase inspections for each build
Inspect UL Tank builds at different phases of fabrication for UL 142 compliance
Scan and maintain filing of compliance documentation to job folders
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
