About The Position

Boston Beer Company is hiring a full-time Quality Control Technician in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, for a 12-hour day shift. The technician helps ensure products meet quality and integrity standards throughout production and packaging by analyzing samples, monitoring processes, documenting results, and deciding whether products should be released or held. The role works with production and maintenance teams to address quality issues and support continuous improvement. The position includes collecting and analyzing samples at multiple production stages, performing packaging quality checks, operating and calibrating laboratory equipment, and recording test results. The technician uses statistical process control data and standard operating procedures to assess whether production can continue or requires adjustment, shutdown, or a product hold. They investigate defects and process deviations, manage product holds and releases, conduct food-safety audits, maintain retained-product samples, and participate in sensory evaluations and improvement projects. The work takes place in a production environment that may involve loud noise, temperature extremes, elevated platforms, production equipment, and forklifts. Assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
