We are seeking a reliable, detail oriented hourly associate to support RMA processing, basic quality checks, data entry, and reporting activities. This role focuses on collecting and organizing information from returned products, assisting with simple inspections and repairs, supporting HVAC troubleshooting activities, and keeping records up to date in tracking systems such as Domo. This position does not require advanced engineering or technician skills. The ideal candidate is organized, willing to learn, and comfortable following procedures while working with multiple teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or associate degree
  • Comfort working with data entry, documentation, and basic reporting
  • Basic familiarity with electronic components or mechanical systems
  • Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions
  • Working knowledge of the Windows operating environment/software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new processes and tools
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RMAs, quality records, or service documentation
  • Exposure to HVAC equipment or manufacturing environments
  • Basic experience with Excel, Domo, or similar reporting tools
  • 2–4 years of experience in an hourly manufacturing, quality, service, or support role is a plus but not required
  • technical coursework is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process returned units (RMAs)
  • Record returned product information, symptoms, and customer notes
  • Assist with basic inspections and documentation of product condition
  • Take photos and capture test or inspection results as directed
  • Enter data accurately into tracking systems and dashboards
  • Help identify recurring issues or trends and share findings with the team
  • Support quality and corrective action activities by providing clear records
  • Assist with basic electronic board handling, inspections, and simple repairs under guidance
  • Perform visual checks, basic continuity tests, and simple functional tests
  • Follow all safety, ESD, and work instructions
  • Support setup and basic operation of production test equipment
  • Maintain organization and inventory of boards or parts being worked on
  • Participate in annual inventory counts
  • Assist with collecting HVAC system data, error codes, and basic measurements
  • Record service findings and observations clearly and accurately
  • Support verification of system performance against documented requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in Domo and other tracking tools
  • Enter, update, and verify data for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with preparing simple summaries or reports as requested
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of collected information
