About The Position

The Quality Control Technician I is an entry-level support individual contributor who supports staff in various Quality Control processes. Under direct supervision, the technician carries out day-to-day laboratory activities, including sample management, supply ordering and receipt, and general housekeeping. The role also supports data review and metrics reporting, implements risk mitigations and process improvements under direct supervision, and escalates issues and risks as required.

The position performs routine quality audits of finished goods and in-process goods, maintains qualification status for assigned test methods, and carries out other related duties assigned by management. The role is based in Jacksonville, Florida, with travel requirements of less than 5%.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of related experience.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine quality audits of finished goods (80%).
• Performs routine quality audits of in-process goods (10%).
• Maintains qualification status for assigned test methods (5%).
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management (5%).
• Supports day-to-day laboratory activities, including sample management, supply ordering and receipt, and general housekeeping, under direct supervision.
• Supports data review and metrics reporting.
• Implements risk mitigations and process improvements under direct supervision.
• Escalates issues and risks as required.
