Requirements
- B.A or B.S Degree in a scientific field OR Associate’s degree + 3 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Perform predispense and final quality control testing
- Perform incoming chemical and non-chemical raw material testing
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform in-process testing of membrane devices
- Perform verification of coded foil labels
- Work with biological samples
- Utilize good aseptic technique in the lab
- Report quality problems to manager/designee
- Manage and record component retentions
- Perform water testing for both Blacksburg and Radford facilities
- Stay up to date with required readings
- Comply with all safety regulations
- Calibrate pH meter and conductivity meter
- Perform stability testing
- Perform mathematical calculations
- Test all kit components per product release standards (bioburden, functionality, physical characteristics)
