About The Position

Hyundai MOBIS is a leading global auto parts specialist company. The Hyundai MOBIS Georgia Plant manufactures and supplies chassis modules, cockpit modules, front-end modules, and bumpers to the KIA Georgia factory. We are seeking passionate and engaged professionals to join our growing Quality Control Team. In this role, you will report to the Quality Control Manager and work to achieve daily tactical objectives in support of company and department goals. You will demonstrate adherence to company policies and procedures, embracing and promoting core values to foster an ethical, legally compliant, and union-free environment. This position also involves taking initiative in training and development opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years Automotive Assembly Quality Control experience
  • 3-5 Years Managerial Experience
  • High School Diploma required
  • Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel)
  • SAP MES
  • Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implement quality standards by establishing, documenting, and maintaining clear quality standards and processes.
  • Supervise inspections of production processes and final products to ensure they meet predefined standards.
  • Ensure all quality control equipment is in working order and calibrated correctly.
  • Collect and analyze data from inspections to identify trends, issues, or areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities, findings, and quality metrics for management.
  • Manage and lead a team of quality control inspectors, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop training programs to ensure team members are knowledgeable about quality standards and their roles.
  • Identify inefficiencies or problems in production processes and collaborate with other departments to implement solutions.
  • Initiate and lead projects aimed at improving product quality, reducing waste, or enhancing productivity.
  • Ensure all products meet legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Address customer complaints related to quality, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Understand customer needs and expectations to align quality control efforts with customer satisfaction goals.
  • Ensure quality control processes adhere to health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in all testing and reporting.
  • Ensure products meet strict standards while managing team operations and safety compliance.
  • Establish quality processes, oversee product inspections, and handle internal and external quality audits.
  • Manage, schedule, and train the quality control team on procedures and equipment.
  • Resolve customer complaints, collaborate with other departments, and manage product quality risks.
  • Understand MOBIS Georgia module functions and their assembly processes.
  • Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, the manufacturing process, and final output.
  • Manage routine audits of processes and quality systems.
  • Analyze data from quality tests and inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, inspection results, and audit findings to senior management.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for team members on quality standards, procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Implement corrective actions and process modifications to address quality issues.
  • Ensure products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage audits and inspections by external bodies.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints related to quality, investigate issues, and take corrective actions.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as manufacturing and procurement, to integrate quality control measures.
  • Ensure that all quality control activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Identify potential risks to product quality or safety and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Understand the customer assembly process as related to Mobis Georgia modules.
  • Understand module function (Chassis, Cockpit, FEM, Bumper).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
