The role also requires interfacing with various departments and vendors to resolve quality issues, providing computerized status reports, and compiling training materials on food safety and quality control. Maintaining knowledge of current testing methods and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies like USDA and FDA are key responsibilities. The supervisor will also maintain the HACCP plan, develop corrective actions for audit findings, and provide Certificates of Analysis to customers.
