1st Shift Quality Control Manager
About The Position
Belle Aire Creations is seeking a capable Quality Manager to support its increasing business activity and continued success. The Quality Technicians are specialists focused on validating incoming raw materials through the production process and into finished goods. The Quality Manager will oversee current procedures, utilize various raw test methods to ensure compliance, and support the fragrance manufacturing process in collaboration with Production Staff, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Planning staff. The Quality Manager reports to the Director of Operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- 4-6 years relevant experience in production lab, or analytical lab environment.
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
- Knowledge of Good manufacturing processes (GMP’s).
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Deadline oriented.
- Proficiency in using common PC applications.
- Excellent ability to work with others.
- Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, visual, or schedule form.
- Vocalize and explain detailed data and problem-solve, both in-person and by telephone.
- Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Compose routine correspondence on own initiative.
- Make comprehensive notes in English.
- Must be able to lift 30-lbs onto waist high shelves.
- Must be able to lift and carry a min of 25lbs.
- Employee will frequently use fingers, walk and distinguish basic colors.
- Employee will continuously use both hands, sit for extended periods of time, and use rapid or well-developed coordination simultaneously.
- Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment.
- Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly.

Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent workflow and collaboration between Quality department shifts.
- Perform Internal and External CAPA’s.
- Resolve non-conformity issues.
- Oversee and validate standardized testing methods for incoming materials and finished product to confirm accuracy.
- Schedule daily, weekly, yearly work assignments for quality team.
- Scheduling annual preventative maintenance for equipment.
- Assist in on-site auditing projects.
- Responsible for handling department email/phone interactions.
- Document requests.
- Customer complaints.
- Status updates.
- Assist with scheduling projects as directed by VP of Operations.
- Assist with projects directed by Senior Quality Manager.
- Oversee proper disposal of expired materials/products.
- Implementation of safe work practices.
- Adhere to Belle Aire Creations PTO policy.
