As the Quality Control Supervisor, you will lead the Quality Control team responsible for ensuring every product meets UPLIFT Desk's quality standards before reaching our customers. This role combines hands-on leadership with process improvement, quality analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain operational excellence while supporting a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quality control experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment, including at least 2 years leading or supervising a team.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) and the ability to analyze quality metrics and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing or improving quality control processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience working with supplier quality issues and corrective action programs.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or similar quality methodologies.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Experience in office furniture, manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, develop, and cross-train the Quality Control team while maintaining accountability for quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
  • Oversee the inspection and testing of inbound products, parts, and materials to ensure compliance with UPLIFT Desk quality standards.
  • Analyze inspection results, quality metrics, and defect trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with Product Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warehouse Operations to resolve quality issues and improve product performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve quality control procedures, inspection standards, and documentation.
  • Coordinate supplier corrective actions and oversee product rework activities to minimize inventory disruption.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reporting, and quality documentation.
  • Monitor departmental performance and recommend process improvements that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment while supporting warehouse operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.
