About The Position
AtWork Durant is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting products, identifying quality issues, and ensuring all materials and finished goods meet company and customer specifications.
Requirements
- Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production teams
- Assist with corrective actions and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
