About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of documents within the Director system, meeting established Quality Control standards. The specialist will also be involved in report generation, managing suspense items, and providing support to other positions as needed. Continuous professional development through work experience and education is encouraged. The position requires adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, participation in examinations and audits, and maintaining a high level of awareness regarding the Information Security Program. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the Bank's image through community involvement and developing a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's products and services to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One year of previous experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Willing to travel to outlying branch areas, as business needs dictate.
  • Regular customer service problem solving using established variables.

Responsibilities

  • Scanning and indexing/filing documents in Director with accuracy.
  • Ensuring documents are compliant, accurate, and meet Quality Control standards for less complex situations.
  • Producing and submitting reports for review.
  • Monitoring and maintaining suspense items.
  • Serving as a backup for other positions and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Enhancing career through work experience and continuing education.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Participating and responding to examinations, audits and third party reviews.
  • Complying with the Information Security Program and maintaining a high level of risk and security awareness.
  • Establishing a good image for the Bank by being active and visible in the community.
  • Attending meetings as assigned.
  • Developing a working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services through usage and webex attendance to provide quality customer service while building relationships and exceeding expectations.
