About The Position

Q3 Contracting, part of Primoris Gas Operations, has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Specialist in Little Canada, MN. Primoris Gas Operations has over 60 years of experience in the natural gas distribution industry, focusing on providing a safe environment, quality workmanship, and exceptional value to customers. The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for performing field audits, documenting findings, assisting with employee training, investigating incidents, and providing input to management regarding crew performance and standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Three years’ related experience in construction
  • Proficient user of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to identify noncompliant performance and assist Operations with implementation of corrective actions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to be effective and efficient
  • Ability to maintain and protect confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers (internal/external)
  • Must be comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays and responding to unexpected situations
  • A demonstrated willingness to work hard and at times physically demanding work in the elements.

Responsibilities

  • Performing field audit functions.
  • Completing daily documentation of field audits & evaluations.
  • Assisting with necessary employee training qualification functions.
  • Accident and/or incident investigation & reporting.
  • Providing direct engagement with crew activities in the field.
  • Providing training and instruction to field employees on job sites.
  • Providing input to management.
  • Evaluating employee / crew performance relating to PDS and Customer standards, best practices and safety polices.
  • Assisting in developing performance objectives and standards.
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Position requires travel through out the region.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
