About The Position

This role is responsible for carrying out test procedures and executing test programs in accordance with guidelines. The specialist will develop and define test procedures at all stages of quality assurance processes, improve laboratory standards, and optimize the methodical approach to testing. This position also contributes to implementing new testing and mixing procedures, employs a variety of methods, chemical testing equipment, and processes appropriate for particular tests. The specialist will interpret test results, provide guidance to operations management, act as a go-to person for troubleshooting and testing excellence, and provide assistance and backup to the QA/QC manager.

Requirements

B.S. degree in any of the sciences/chemistry and/or >5 years’ experience in quality control operations of manufactured production oilfield chemicals or similar
Able to work with manufacturing, operations, lab personnel and commercial personnel in providing timely and accurate product property data
Familiarity and experience in the operation of typical lab instrumentation as well as wet chemistry methodology
Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms
