This senior-level specialist will drive quality assurance, engineering support, and technical oversight for complex DoD-related systems and solutions. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in technical problem-solving, test and evaluation, CAD support, and engineering processes within C4ISR or related environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years professional experience solving technical problems in engineering or software development/maintenance environments.
  • Active DoW Secret Clearance
  • Practical understanding of engineering concepts and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Experience testing equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and support design/fabrication of test specimens.
  • Skilled in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) and preparation of shop drawings.
  • Familiarity with material specifications and fabrication methods.
  • Hands-on experience with software development and/or software maintenance projects.
  • Two (2) years specific experience with DoD C4ISR, maintenance, logistics, or business systems. Other relevant industry experience supporting complex solutions as approved by the COR, to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in supporting information technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all products, services, and processes meet established quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of equipment/systems to confirm safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
  • Interpret engineering plans, drawings, material specifications, and contribute to design and fabrication of test specimens.
  • Prepare shop drawings, design models, and support prototype/test article construction using CAD tools.
  • Provide advanced technical expertise to engineering and software teams throughout development and maintenance lifecycles.
  • Support DoD C4ISR, logistics, maintenance, and business system initiatives through requirements analysis and quality verification.
  • Develop and execute test plans, data analysis activities, operational requirement reviews, and training support.
  • Interface with government stakeholders and project leads to ensure alignment with mission objectives and compliance standards.
  • Apply recognized industry and public‑sector leadership experience to guide quality assurance best practices.
