Buckland strives to provide customized services in a memorable way. Buckland is looking for a Quality Control Specialist, Intermediate. This position is responsible for coordinating and auditing documentation on entries, as assigned. This position will be assisting and maintaining the quality and accuracy of import entries. Furthermore, the position handles requests for missing information and ensures that all data is accurate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in US Customs brokerage.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control.
  • Basic knowledge of HTS classification.
  • Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
  • Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in CAD/USA/MX.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation.
  • Review Certificates of Origin and other documentation to confirm eligibility to Free Trade programs.
  • Analyze and update PGA records in entries and database with knowledge of PGA reporting requirements.
  • Audit assigned files to ensure accuracy and instructions are followed.
  • Work with operations department in maintaining of client database.
  • Assist team leader in training of team members as assigned.
  • Service clients and reporting of any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
  • Ensures all shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
  • Support as required in all Departmental Operations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
