About The Position
The Quality Control Manager leads quality assurance initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing and production environment. The role focuses on continuous improvement, root cause analysis, customer satisfaction, and maintaining high product quality standards. It oversees inspection and nonconforming-product processes, investigates customer complaints, manages supplier quality, maintains quality systems and traceability, and leads improvement efforts in collaboration with customers, suppliers, internal teams, and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of quality control experience in high-volume machining or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, Total Quality Management (TQM), and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with customer claims, corrective actions, supplier quality, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer and supplier locations.

- Relevant professional certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily quality control inspections, lot control, sorting, and nonconforming product management.
- Lead customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
- Monitor cost of quality and implement strategies to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
- Manage supplier quality activities to ensure incoming materials meet established standards.
- Maintain quality systems, documentation, inspection processes, and product traceability.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, training, and cross-functional problem-solving activities.
- Present quality performance metrics and improvement plans to leadership.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to drive operational excellence.
