About The Position

Campari Group is a major player in the global branded spirits industry with a portfolio of over 50 premium and super premium brands. Headquartered in Milan, Italy, Campari Group owns 25 plants worldwide and has its own distribution network in 26 countries, employing approximately 4,700 people. We are looking for a bold, compliance-driven Quality Manager to lead and elevate our quality and food safety agenda across Brazil and Argentina. This is a high-visibility, dual-country role where you’ll report directly to the Executive Supply Chain Director and own the full quality agenda: from FSSC 22000 certification and supplier audits to building the cultural foundations of food safety at our Suape plant in Recife.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Quality area and/or in the role, preferably in medium to large-sized companies
  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering or other related Engineering graduation
  • Minimum training: FSSC Scheme requirements (ISO 22000, ISO/TS 22002-1, and Additional Requirements)
  • English: Advanced level
  • Spanish: Advanced level
  • Knowledge of IMS-related standards (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000)
  • Knowledge of legal requirements applicable to the food industry
  • Quality Management tools
  • Lean Six Sigma training
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain certifications, providing support and guidance to teams to ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 Scheme, integrated with other standards of the Integrated Management System (IMS), aiming at continuous improvement of processes and activities.
  • Conduct audits of suppliers, co-packers, 3PLs, and plants, and manage action plans where applicable.
  • Manage IMS processes related to ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000, including required documentation, document control, records, non-conformity control, and management of internal and external audits.
  • Review and approve documented procedures of the Management System and guide areas to comply with Quality and Food Safety guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality and Food Safety program in Brazil and Argentina, ensuring compliance, consistency, risk reduction, and delivery of safe products that meet consumer and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage quality activities, ensuring alignment among Campari plants and compliance with applicable quality, food safety, and legal requirements.
  • Ensure the Integrated Management System related to the FSSC 22000 is maintained, including documentation management and compliance with legal requirements related to Quality and Food Safety.
  • Manage activities related to the implementation, certification, and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with FSSC 22000, ensuring continuous process improvement.
  • Assure Quality and Food Safety compliance for all Campari products in Campari plants, co-packers, 3PLs and suppliers.
  • Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and updating of policies and standards that comply with quality and food safety legislation.
  • Represent the company in meetings of National Technical Committee, if required.
  • Ensure the definition of quality requirements and specifications for raw materials, inputs, packaging materials, and finished products.
  • Actively support the personal and professional development of the team through training, coaching, guidance, exposure, and recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and management systems under own and team responsibility.
  • Define technical specifications and operational conditions for new engineering projects.
  • Manage Customer Service (SAC), customer and consumer complaints, product incidents, withdrawals, and recalls.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, problem-solving, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness of action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation related to the business.
  • Approve and propose improvements to IMS documentation related to the FSSC 22000.
  • Ensure dissemination of the Integrated Management System Policy to all employees, clearly and effectively.
  • Lead the agenda in all aspects related to Quality and Food Safety for Brazil and Argentina for new projects.
  • Coordinate Food Safety Team meetings, support the Food Safety Team Leader, and lead Management Review meetings to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Review and/or approve IMS procedures related to the FSSC 22000.
  • Manage internal audits (planning, auditor nomination, supervision, and follow-up of corrective/preventive actions).
  • Manage external audits and follow up on corrective/preventive action implementation.
  • Conduct audits of suppliers, co-packers, and 3PLs, and support internal and external audits at the Suape Plant.
  • Manage indicators and targets related to Quality, Food Safety, and Prerequisite Programs.
