About The Position

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing quality throughout the production process, holding production staff accountable to quality expectations, and working closely with the Head of Production to maintain efficient operations. Screen-printing or apparel industry experience is a plus but not required. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and leadership skill to ensure all garments meet customer and company quality standards before shipment.

Requirements

Leadership skills and confidence in enforcing quality standards.
Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Basic computer skills for reporting and data tracking.
Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass a background check prior to hire.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming garments, supplies, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Identify defects such as smudged prints, missing colors, misaligned designs, holes, stains, or incorrect sizes; remove defective items, document findings, and coordinate corrections or reprints with production supervisors.
Monitor print production for color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality.
Perform quality inspections throughout the production process and document and resolve quality issues.
Communicate quality concerns with production staff and provide guidance to maintain company standards.
Maintain quality control records, track defect trends, and report improvement opportunities to management.
Ensure finished products are properly folded, labeled, packaged, and prepared for shipment according to customer requirements.
Audit compliance with production procedures, safety requirements, and quality control standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe quality control work area.
Support production leadership by holding team members accountable to quality expectations and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
