About The Position

Standard Sand & Silica is currently looking for a Quality Control Specialist for our Ivey, GA location. The ideal candidate will perform quality assurance tests to ensure the quality of products and that they conform to established company standards. These tests will include but not be limited to the following: Gradation/Sieve Analysis, Sand Equivalency, Colorimetric, and Refractory of Heavy Minerals.

Requirements

• Proficient in math skills.
• Knowledgeable in computer software, Excel, and Word.
• Detail oriented.
• Demonstrate oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to work any shift.
• Desire to work hard. Honest and dependable. Ethics and moral value are important.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Experience with computer, Excel, and Word.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment physical.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering related field or will accept an equivalent combination or experience and/or education.
