About The Position

The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for performing various quality control tasks on electronic parts and sub-materials. This includes cross-cutting of electronic parts (cutting, sanding, polishing, and microscope usage), inspection of sub-materials, and blueprint reading with an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances. The role requires proficiency with vision system measurements, performing routine visual inspections, and using measuring devices to check product quality. The technician will also complete daily quality reports, take necessary actions according to policy and procedure, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Collaboration with other associates and the chain of command is expected for problem identification and resolution. The position may involve lifting, reaching, and pulling items up to 33 pounds and requires proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills. The ability to work overtime on short notice is also necessary.

Ability to lift, reach and pull items up to 33 pounds
2 year technical degree or QC related equivalent experience REQUIRED
Strong Electronics background preferred

Responsibilities

Confers with other associates and the chain of command as necessary to identify and resolve problems.
Performs other duties as assigned by chain of command.
May be required to lift, reach and pull items up to 33 pounds.
Proficient with Excel and strong computer skills.
Ability to work overtime on short notice.
