We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients! As a member of the Quality Control Team, you will have direct responsibility for incoming inspection activities to support the development, manufacturing, and sales of Kardium products. Please note that this opportunity is an on-site work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on Metrology or Quality Control experience, preferably in regulated manufacturing industries, such as medical devices or automotive.
- An ability to interpret mechanical drawings to understand specified dimensional and functional characteristics to be measured, tested, or inspected.
- Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tensile testers, and high-precision microscopes.
- Experience with coordinated measuring machines (e.g.: Mitutoyo CMM) and optical measurement systems (e.g.: Keyence).
- An associate degree or diploma in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or related experience.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills.
- The willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of the Solidworks software is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performing incoming inspections of purchased materials according to established specifications and procedures.
- Programming and operating automated measurement systems, such as Keyence Imaging System and Mitutoyo CMM.
- Researching and recommending reliable measurement systems.
- Conducting the cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of measuring equipment.
- Implementing 5S good practices in the metrology lab.
- Training new employees on the existing measurement tools.
- Producing formal reports of the inspection and measurement results and initiating non-conformity reports (NCR) when required.
