About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector ensures that products meet established quality standards and specifications by inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of materials, components, and finished goods. The role supports consistency and adherence to quality assurance protocols across the production process, from raw materials through finished goods.

Requirements

• Attention to detail for accurate inspection and defect identification.
• Clear communication of inspection findings and problem-solving strategies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve product-quality issues.
• Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Some positions may require the ability to stand or walk for long periods, lift weights, and use hand and arm movements in repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Document and report defects or deviations from established standards to relevant personnel.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and develop corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection and testing equipment functions properly and is calibrated.
• Inspect and test products using tools and techniques such as rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, and electronic inspection equipment.
• Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure production standards are met and identify potential issues.
• Train and mentor new quality assurance team members, as needed.
• Inspect and verify quality at different stages of production, from raw materials to finished goods.
