Mobile Home Quality Control Inspection-Plumbing Testing
About The Position
Champion Home Builder, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for its Ephrata plant. The role inspects parts, products, and processes for conformance with standards; uses fixed or variable measuring instruments to inspect materials or products; checks for defects and irregularities; compares products with parts lists to confirm assembly completion; and verifies specified product or material dimensions. The inspector coordinates with engineering, sales, and manufacturing personnel to resolve issues involving product design, materials, specifications, and manufacturing operations. The role also ensures quality control systems and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED and one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Responsibilities

- Inspect materials and products using fixed or variable measuring instruments.
- Check for irregularities and defects.
- Compare products with parts lists to ensure assembly is complete.
- Verify specified dimensions on products or materials.
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications, or manufacturing operations.
- Ensure quality control policies, procedures, directives, and systems comply with company and applicable federal regulations.
- Continually work to increase the facility's level of quality assurance.
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed according to company guidelines and OSHA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
