About The Position
EP² provides complete power management systems for commercial and utility industries for power generation, transmission, and distribution. The Quality Control Inspector supports the team that builds these products and contributes to company growth. Located in Des Moines, Iowa, the inspector checks panels and enclosures throughout production as they move through the steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping departments. The role reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read blueprints and exploded-view drawings.
- Exercise common sense when making decisions.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and the customer’s bill of materials.
- Document product deficiencies and errors, and confirm that corrections are made.
- Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.
