About The Position
Champion Home Builder, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Inspector at its Ephrata plant. The role inspects parts, products, and processes for conformance with standards; uses fixed or variable measuring instruments; checks for irregularities and defects; compares products with parts lists to confirm assembly completion; and verifies specified product or material dimensions. The inspector works with engineering, sales, and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems involving product design, materials, specifications, and manufacturing operations. The position also ensures quality-control policies, procedures, directives, and systems comply with company requirements and applicable federal regulations, while working to improve quality assurance at the facility. The employee must follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. This role is non-exempt. Work takes place in seasonal weather and warm or cold temperatures, with noise that is usually moderate to loud.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED and one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
Responsibilities

- Ensure quality-control policies, procedures, directives, and systems comply with company requirements and applicable federal regulations.
- Continually work to increase the facility's level of quality assurance.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures in accordance with established guidelines and OSHA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
