About The Position

We are an AISC certified fabricator seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our day shift team. This is a stable, long-term position offering consistent hours M-F and Saturday shifts as needed. We are committed to employee development through ongoing training and AISC certified fabricator coursework. Qualified candidates must have hands-on welding experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Hands-on welding experience with knowledge of common weld defects.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Familiarity with company quality standards and procedures.
• Available to work day shift, including extended hours and Saturdays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Experience with Tekla software.
• Knowledge of welding codes (e.g., AWS D1.1) and basic inspection tools.
• Familiarity with non-conformance reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and explain blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect parts, welds, and assemblies for quality and conformance.
• Document and report non-conformances per company procedures.
• Support production tracking and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Communicate findings clearly to production staff and management.
