About The Position
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products in the paint shop. This includes conducting inspections and tests related to surface preparation and coating application, monitoring activities to ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, and inspecting finished products. The role also involves documenting inspection activities, completing reports, managing non-conformities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and tests related to surface preparation and coating application, in accordance with the inspection and testing plan and work instructions
- Monitor activities (preparation, mixing, application) to ensure compliance with the manufacturer’s requirements and recommendations
- Inspect finished products according to project criteria
- Record inspection activities (thickness, environmental conditions, bond profile, etc.) via the production log
- Complete required reports (daily monitoring, inspection reports)
- Document trailer loading with photographs prior to delivery
- Identify, report, and mark non-conformities
- Complete required reports (correction notes or non-conformity reports) and follow up on corrective actions
- Verify and calibrate inspection instruments
- Interpret standards applicable to projects
- Comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- Perform any other related tasks
