About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team at the San Jacinto, CA Plant. Champion is a leader in the manufactured housing industry, building single-family, multi-family, commercial, and government buildings across North America. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting parts, products, and processes to ensure they conform to established standards. This involves using fixed or variable measuring instruments, identifying irregularities and defects, verifying product completion against parts lists, and confirming specified dimensions.

High School degree or G.E.D. and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years Manufactured housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
