About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in the Pembroke, NC region. This role involves inspecting parts, products, and processes to ensure conformance with standards. The inspector will use measuring instruments to check for irregularities and defects, compare products with parts lists for completeness, and verify specified dimensions. The position requires coordinating with various departments to resolve problems and ensuring compliance with quality control policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

High School degree or G.E.D. and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Inspect each home when notified it is "Ready and Complete" by Final Finish Supervisor.
Utilize check sheet and inspect each room and exterior for obvious cosmetic defects.
Ensure that the unit meets cleanliness standards for shipping.
Follow-up on repairs to verify quality and ensure no additional damage occurs.
Verify all ship loose material is loaded per ship loose check sheet.
Coordinate with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
Ensure all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
