About The Position

Procon Roofing Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support and strengthen our quality management program across commercial roofing projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that quality standards, safety requirements, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer specifications are consistently met. The Quality Control Inspector will oversee inspection activities, review quality documentation, track non-conformance issues, coordinate corrective actions, and work closely with project teams to drive continuous improvement. This position plays a key role in maintaining Procon’s reputation for delivering high-quality roofing solutions and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial roofing, construction, or a related quality control role.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, installation practices, and industry standards.
  • Experience conducting inspections, audits, and quality reviews.
  • Ability to identify deficiencies, recommend solutions, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, reports, and follow-ups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with field teams, project managers, and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality control program.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, and specifications in alignment with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  • Conduct inspections and review inspection reports to ensure quality issues are properly identified, documented, and resolved.
  • Oversee field inspection activities and provide guidance and support to field inspectors.
  • Track, document, and follow up on non-conformance issues and corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, production teams, and field personnel to resolve quality-related concerns and discrepancies.
  • Perform audits of completed corrective actions to verify effectiveness and long-term compliance.
  • Prepare quality reports and present key findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance overall quality performance.
  • Develop and support quality improvement initiatives across production operations.
  • Ensure inspection records, compliance documents, corrective action reports, and quality documentation are maintained accurately and up to date.
  • Collaborate with Safety and Operations teams to integrate quality and safety procedures into daily practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
  • Work directly with manufacturers to achieve successful quality audits and maintain compliance with their standards.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, roofing standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, workmanship excellence, and continuous improvement.
