About The Position

Apache Workforce is hiring Quality Control Inspectors for industrial manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of structural welding, piping fabrication, and assembled components through detailed inspections and documentation. This position offers long-term growth potential, including advancement into senior inspection or quality leadership roles based on performance and certifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or quality management
  • Experience working with ISO-9000 or similar quality systems
  • Familiarity with ASME, AWS, and related welding and construction codes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers
  • Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Certified Quality Inspector required within one year of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ASME Section VIII, IX, V, B31.9, B31.5 or similar codes
  • Certifications in NDE methods (Level II preferred)
  • CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or ACWI certification
  • Associate’s Degree in Applied Science or related field

Responsibilities

  • Performing visual inspections of welded parts and assemblies per design requirements
  • Conducting dimensional inspections of components and assemblies
  • Interpreting drawings, procedures, and specifications to verify product acceptance
  • Monitoring and recording results of testing (hydrostatic testing, coatings, etc.)
  • Witnessing tests and performing process audits as required
  • Preparing nonconformance reports and maintaining inspection documentation
  • Ensuring all inspection and testing records are properly completed and maintained
  • Performing inspections at manufacturing facilities, supplier locations, or field sites
  • Assisting in training other personnel as needed
  • Following all quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned
