About The Position

A Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and specifications by inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of materials, components, and finished goods. This role is critical in various industries for maintaining consistency and adherence to quality assurance protocols. Quality control inspectors may be involved in various aspects of the production process, from raw materials to finished goods.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Reporting Defects: QC Inspectors document and report any defects or deviations from established standards to relevant personnel.
• Collaborating with other departments: QC Inspectors work with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and develop corrective actions.
• Maintaining and calibrating equipment: They ensure the proper functioning and calibration of inspection and testing equipment.
• Inspecting and testing products: QC Inspectors examine products using various tools and techniques, including rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, and electronic inspection equipment.
• Monitoring production processed: They observe manufacturing operations to ensure they meet production standards and identify potential issues.
• Training and mentoring: They may be involved in training and mentoring new quality assurance team members.
